Wow, what a month August was here at PPC Protect HQ!
From 3 new starters (Oli, Amar and Andrew) through to launching our biggest ever platform update, we’ve certainly been keeping busy!
Let’s take a deeper look at what we’ve been up to this month….
1. Our Biggest Ever Update
This month we launched our biggest ever update to the PPC Protect platform — PPC Protect v3.0.
This update brings a on of performance improvements, new features, a brand new dashboard experience and as always improved fraud detection capabilities.
You can read a full breakdown of what this update involves here. At a top level, here’s what’s changed:
- We’ve totally refreshed the design to bring a modern, easier to use feel to the platform.
- We’ve re-written the entire back-end logic of the system and database structure — that means greater speed, greater efficiency and a more pleasant experience.
- Real time account notifications are now available for critical and important issues.
- An audit log is now available to see who made what change, and when.
- You can connect multiple Google Ads accounts that don’t belong to the same MCC, all to the same PPC Protect account.
- You can view your savings in different currencies per account — no more converting it all to $USD!
- Don’t like the look of a click? Block it in real time with a single button.
- Improvements to filtering, data exports and PDF generation.
- A new customer support platform & virtual platform guide.
2. We Grew The Team, Again!
Another month, another hire…. but not just one, this time it’s 3!
We’re delighted to welcome Oli, Amar and Andrew to the PPC Protect team.
Oli joins our expanding digital marketing team as an SEO executive, bringing his experience in working for one of the UK’s most successful SEO & content marketing agencies.
Amar joins us from travel SaaS company TapTrip as our new partnerships manager. Amar has some super exciting projects he’s working on that we’ll be able to share more information about soon, so keep an eye out for those!
Last but not least, Andrew joins us from Manchester based SaaS company Engage Solutions as our new Head of Sales. With our strong continued growth, our leadership team realised it was time to bring an experienced, dedicated expert in to lead our sales process moving forward — which is exactly what Andrew provides!

3. We’re Hiring, Again!
You heard right — we’re not stopping there! We’ve got more job openings live and even more coming up in the next few months.
We’re on a roll, and we’re showing no signs of slowing down.

4. 2,040 Trees Planted
Last month we discussed our commitment to reforesting the planet, and how we planted 1,850 trees.
This month, we did even better!
2,040 trees planted. Couple that with last months tree planting and we’ve already offset enough carbon to drive around the world five times!
5. We Updated Our Exclusions List
If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check out our display exclusions list!
It’s a one stop shop for blocking junk traffic on the Google Display Network & YouTube — and best of all it’s totally free!
We update it each month, and this month we’ve added:
- 7,760 YouTube Channels
- Covering 3,674,772 YouTube Videos
- Which equals over 3,000,000,000,000 (that’s TRILLION!) bad impressions

Our August roundup wouldn’t be complete without introducing you to our new CMOs (that’s Chief Meowing Officers) — Rengar & Ziggs. Those of you familiar with League of Legends will no doubt recognise the names!
These little bundles of fur are 15 weeks old and absolutely adorable.
